The project “Green Jobs for Recovery and European Integration of Ukraine” is one of the initiatives under the Green Recovery Platform for Ukraine.
NGO Institute of Sustainable Reforms and Project Works carried out activities in close cooperation with the NGO Living Planet under the supervision of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the International Labour Organization (ILO). The goal was to identify the potential to create new green jobs in the process of rebuilding Ukraine and the possibilities for the reintegration of Ukrainian veterans and participants in the Russian-Ukrainian war into the green labor market.
The main objectives of the project were to conduct in-depth research, engage with key stakeholders to develop a “roadmap” for increasing the number of new green jobs and reintegration of veterans into the green labor market based on the results obtained and best practices.
